Former First Lady Michelle Obama made headlines again this week after she shared intimate details about her personal life and habits.
During an interview on “Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce,” Obama revealed that bedtime can be a contentious time for her and her husband, former President Barack Obama.
Hi, I’m Michelle Obama, and I’m not gonna lie…bedtime is the best time of the day. My husband teases me about how early I can go to bed. He just doesn’t understand the idea of getting into some good sheets, and it’s cool,” Obama said at the beginning of the interview.
“If we’ve got people in the house, I’m game, I’m there. I’m up, I’m in it. I’m laughing, I’m talking. But, you know, the minute we finish up, I’m just trying not to go to bed before the sun goes down,” Obama continued.
“What’s ideal bedtime?” Kelce asked.
“Man, any time after dinner,” Obama said with a laugh.
“That’s lovely,” Kelce agreed, adding, “Coming from someone who likes the AARP special reservation—which is the 5:30 reservation—I would love to be in bed by like 8:30.”
“The girls, they were good sleepers,” Obama said, referring to her daughters Sasha and Malia.
